Many local products and their producers have huge potential. Product quality, high-level production technology often based on traditional recipes, as well as the will and desire of the manufacturer are not enough for the product to find its way onto the market. Often, the market in which these producers are primarily located is small or primarily undefined, sometimes the traders who sell the products are monopolistic and it is very difficult to offer the product itself to the customer, almost always such producers do not find their way in the global market where most of the products and their sales are based on good marketing and online sales. In most cases, exporting products to other foreign markets is unthinkable.
There are many serious obstacles that separate manufacturers with good local products from foreign markets – obtaining the necessary certificates and licenses for products, a good business plan that functionally connects all aspects of production, marketing, inability to reach a foreign partner, export organization, financial aspects, etc.
As a company, Daf Braun International Trade was designed to help small and medium-sized producers from the Balkans, who have good products, in their placement on foreign markets.
